I just have to say a big ole “THANK YOU” to all of you who have come out to support the “T Shirt Tour” thus far. It was a great run back to NC and a very fun night tonight at home in Nashville. I hope you all know how much I appreciate your support of my music by coming out to hear me/us(the cooler than cool band) play. It’s a dream come true and I thank you. I’ve got some fun shows this summer and the band will be back this Fall for a grand tour to be sure…perhaps a new CD soon?….hmm….that’s the rumor mill for you. I’m coming to the Blue Horn Lounge in Chapel Hill, NC on July 4th after the fireworks. Hope to see you there! Much love and thanks,

Just a quick note that rehearsals are happening, new songs are singing, and hot cocoa is keeping us happy as we prepare for the Winter tour in a week. I can’t wait to get back on the road and say hello and play music. See you soon! david

Hey folks,
I wanted to keep you updated on what’s been going on since “love…” released. I have been blessed by amazing support and response from fans all over the country…which is extremely flattering. I’m booking an exciting, ‘heftier’ tour in January and into February so be sure to check back for that.

I’ve been producing some records here in Nashville. This amazing guitarist, singer, AND songwriter, Mark Trussell, has been “laying it down” as they say. He’s very talented. You can hear him at www.myspace.com/marktrussell.

I’m getting ready to play some christmas shows in December. I love december. I love christmas. I love snow and I love thinking about how to write the next big Christmas smash hit…it hasn’t happened yet, not even close. But i’m thinking about it…

Most importantly to know, while I have not been playing as many live shows in the past month, I have been supremely thankful for all of the support I have received while I’m at home writing for folks and producing other people’s music. I cannot wait to tour again starting next month. Playing live music is nourishment for me.

I’m home. I drove in to Nashville this morning at 9am. Cool breeze, sleepy eyes, a thankful spirit. You all were uber supportive this past week. Thanks to everyone who came out to the release shows this week. I am very thankful for the opportunity to play live music for a living. It was wonderful to meet so many new folks. I hope you are all enjoying the record and playing it for your friends. I’ll be back on the road in a couple weeks.

A bit of wisdom I learned on the road this week (it will be a song later this week) … thinking back on all the people I have been blessed to meet over the past 7 years of my career, I realize that I am standing on the shoulders of many people…and because of that, because of their sincere support and encouragement, I am able to do what I dreamed of as a kid. So, i pulled into Nashville this morning very thankful for all the shoulders on which I am standing. (I am sorry whenever it hurt…sometimes I get excited and start jumping up and down, thus injuring those shoulders beneath me … please accept my apology!)
